Brenden Freedman is an American cinematographer based in London. An NFTS alumnus and BSC Mentee, he works across narrative, commercials, and music videos.

His background in documentary photography and photojournalism continues to inform his approach to cinematography, combining an observational eye with a focus on naturalistic storytelling, authentic performances and emotionally grounded imagery.

His work has been recognized and awarded Best British at the Iris Prize, shortlisted for the BAFTA Student Awards, nominated for the RTS Student Craft Awards and a Kodak Commercial Competition win.
